Getting started
Install
Get Resibook from the Microsoft Store on Windows 10 (version 1809 or later, 64-bit) or Windows 11. It is free to use in full for 14 days from the first time you open it.
Set up your book
The first time Resibook opens, it asks what kind of business you have, its name and the currency you keep your books in. Then you choose a look. Nothing is set up until you choose, and you can change the look later in Settings.
Bring in a statement
Download a statement from your bank as a file. Open Import, pick the currency and the account the statement belongs to, and choose the file. The rows wait in Review. Nothing is posted until you approve it.
Review and approve
In Review, Resibook suggests an account for each row and says why. Approve it, pick another account, or leave it for later. Every approval is kept in Changes, where you can undo it.
Back up
Before you rely on Resibook, save a backup from Settings › Data & Backup and keep it somewhere safe. Backup and recovery phrase explains how.
Enter your licence
When you buy a licence, Lemon Squeezy emails you the key. Enter it in Settings › Licence. If you don't, your books open read-only after the 14 days, and you can still view, export and back them up.
