Terms and licence
Last updated October 24, 2026
These terms cover using Resibook and the licences sold for it. By installing or using Resibook you agree to them. Buying a licence also follows Lemon Squeezy's terms, because Lemon Squeezy is the seller.
Trying Resibook
Resibook is free to download from the Microsoft Store and free to use in full for 14 days from the first time you open it. After that, your books open read-only until you enter a licence. You can still view, export and back them up, and nothing in them is ever locked away.
Licences
A lifetime licence costs $245, paid once. It never expires, and it includes every future version of Resibook.
A monthly licence costs $15 a month. It renews by itself while your subscription is active, and you can cancel at any time through Lemon Squeezy. After you cancel, it keeps working to the end of the time you've paid for, and then your books open read-only again.
Prices are in US dollars, and Lemon Squeezy adds sales tax or VAT where the law requires it.
Each licence key works on one computer at a time. To move it, open Settings › Licence on the old computer and choose Move to another computer, then enter the key on the new one. If the old computer is lost or broken, write to us and we'll free the key.
A licence is for you or your business. Please don't share your key, sell it on, or try to get around the licence check.
Refunds
If Resibook isn't right for you, ask within 14 days of buying and you'll get your money back, with no questions asked. This covers a lifetime licence and the first payment of a monthly plan, and it comes on top of the 14-day free trial. Write to support@resibook.app and Lemon Squeezy will make the refund. Lemon Squeezy turns a refunded key off, so it can't be entered or moved again, and a licence that's been refunded may not be used again.
Lemon Squeezy is the seller
Lemon Squeezy sells Resibook licences as the merchant of record. The purchase is between you and Lemon Squeezy, which takes the payment, charges any sales tax or VAT, sends the receipt and makes refunds. Its buyer terms apply to the purchase, including which law governs it.
Your books are yours
We claim nothing in your books. They stay on your computer, and you can view, export and back them up whether or not you have a licence. Keeping backups is up to you. We have no copy of your books, so we can't recover a lost book or a forgotten password.
What Resibook doesn't do
Resibook helps you keep your own books. It doesn't give tax, legal or accounting advice, and its tax summaries and estimates are worked out from your records and the rules you set, so check anything important with an accountant. Resibook never files anything with a tax office or any government, and no tax authority has certified or approved it.
AI suggestions are only suggestions, and nothing reaches your books until you approve it. If you connect an AI service, that service's own terms apply between you and it.
Limits
Resibook is provided as it is. We can't promise it is free of mistakes or suited to every purpose. As far as the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect losses such as lost profit or lost data, and our total liability is limited to what you paid for Resibook in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms takes away rights that the law where you live gives you and won't let you sign away.
Changes
If these terms change, the date at the top changes too. A change never takes away a licence you've already paid for.
